Dear Limerick Bowmen members and board: This was the best showing for an event in my history with BSA Troop 4 from Spring City. 18 boys with their families attended the event on Monday April 19th. Two boys shot to qualify for the Archery Merit Badge. 8 boys received blue cards to start their first merit badge in Scouting. Parents were very impressed with the facility and truly enjoyed their time in the building. They all thank the Limerick Bowmen for the opportunity to have their boys shoot in a clean and safe environment. The Troop would like to especially thank Cam and Al for coming out and teaching archery to our new scouts. Most of the boys were 11 and 12 years old. While Cam taught the group Al worked with boys individually. The parents are grateful as well. Troop 4 would like to thank all who agreed to host them at the General Membership meeting. As successful as this was, it can be repeated and more boys introduced to the sport of Archery.
